Teacher, Live Musician & Session Player

Drummer
I started playing drums 18 years ago when I was 4 years old. My parents bought me a small Yamaha electronic drumset for Christmas and I’ve been infatuated with them every since.
I’ve played for a host of different bands in musical styles ranging from technical metal to funk and jazz and being a pit drummer for a musical.
Guitarist
I started playing guitar when I was 9. In the last few years I’ve got more seriously in to learing it properly and masting the techniques that I’ve always thought were cool, like sweep picking etc.
I primarily use guitar for writing my solo music and don’t often play it live unless its for an acoustic set with the band.
Teaching | Guitar | Drums
As a passionate musician I naturally enjoy teaching.
I teach guitar and drums to all ages and all skill levels – both privately and in schools across the Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and West Midlands areas.
I aim to keep lessons fun and rewarding for the student; tailoring each lesson to the student to ensure they get the most learning and enjoyment possible.
Session work
I provide drums or guitar service for both live and studio settings. I’ve spent the best part of the last 10 years performing and recording music so I’m lucky to have a wide portfolio of skills and experience. This set of skills often proves invaluable when applied to new settings and jobs.
Location
I am based in North Oxfordshire but happy to travel! Normally teach within the Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and West Midlands areas.
